When you volunteer at Mission Animal Hospital, you are integral to the process of keeping families and their four-legged loved ones together.  Whether you are cleaning surgical instruments, sorting donations, or wiping down treatment rooms, your generous contribution of time allows our staff to see more patients and care for more pets. In hospital volunteers must fill out an application and go through a short virtual interview. This helps both volunteers and the manager to know if volunteering at Mission is the right fit. In hospital volunteers will then attend a three hour training shift before volunteering independently.

We invite adults and youth 16 and up to volunteer individually or in small groups. Youth, ages 14-15, may volunteer alongside a parent or guardian in the Hospital Support Volunteer position. Event Volunteers may or may not have age restrictions based on the event type.
