Dr. Maura is originally from Vermont and graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish. She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she completed a year-long rotating internship at a specialty and emergency referral hospital in Connecticut. Her specific interests include surgery, urgent care, and preventative medicine. Dr. Maura strives to provide high-quality medicine for the Spanish speaking community. When not at Mission Animal Hospital, Dr. Maura enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring the Twin Cities, hiking, running, and playing with her black cat named Lila.
