Dr. Rachel grew up in the lower peninsula of Michigan, then earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Northern Michigan University on the beautiful Lake Superior. Afterwards, she attended Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Rachel completed internships in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, as well as Wildlife Rehabilitation and Medicine. Dr. Rachel joined Mission Animal Hospital in 2021. Her passions are preventive medicine to keep pets happy and a healthy member of the family for as long as possible. She also enjoys medicine cases and working closely with clients to ensure the best care for their pets. Dr. Rachel continues to work with wildlife and is a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator. In her free time, Dr. Rachel enjoys spending time with her pets (a cat named Eva and a German Shorthaired Pointer named Myles), camping, hiking, and exploring new places.
