Dr. Katherine grew up in a Navy family in Maryland. She always had an interest in animals and was an avid horseback rider. She obtained her Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2004. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2009. Upon graduation, she moved to Las Vegas and practiced small animal medicine. While she enjoyed living in Vegas, she and her husband decided to move to Minnesota in 2014 to be closer to family. She joined Mission Animal Hospital in 2017 and is proud to play a role in improving access to veterinary care. Her specific interest is in surgery and becoming skilled in more advanced surgical procedures. In her time off, Dr. Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They love doing things outdoors and traveling. She is a huge fan of bull riding/rodeo, the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Eagles.
