Dr. Angela
Veterinarian
Dr. Angela is originally from Oklahoma. Her love of veterinary medicine comes from her mother who is a general practice veterinarian. From Oklahoma she travelled to Minnesota where she attended Carleton College for undergrad. From there she moved to Texas and received her DVM from Texas A&M University. Dr. Angela went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at Mississippi State University, an Emergency and Critical Care specialty internship at Washington State University, and an Emergency and Critical Care residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Angela has always had a love of emergency medicine and decided to join the team at Mission Animal Hospital as an Urgent Care veterinarian to provide affordable veterinary care for all families.
Outside of work Dr. Angela stays busy with her 3 dogs, cat and Russian tortoise. She has a chihuahua named Petri, a Shih Tzu mix named Stella, and a Morkie named Mochi. The cat, Ichabod, is the king of the house. Strawberry, the tortoise, enjoys a quiet life.
